Yesterday I attended the opening ceremony of the 19th Athens International Film Festival, with the optimistic film Frances Ha of Noah Baumpach in the Pallas theater. The artistic director of the Festival, Orestes Andreadakis, called it a “celebration of culture” that this year will include 206 new films, 93 of which are new Greek productions. The festival will last until September 29 in theaters Danaos 1 & 2, Odeon Opera 1 & 2, Ideal and Greek Film Archive.
After the screening there was a party at Pasaji, at the City Link gallery.
